cubewano , a Kuiper belt object not in resonance with any planet. Chaos was discovered in 1998 by theDeep Ecliptic Survey , with Kitt Peak's 4 m telescope. It is large at about 560 km, and bright at H=4.755. It is named after the primeval state of existence inGreek mythology , from which the first gods appeared.Trivia
A jazz-fusion/progressive-rock band from Connecticut took their name after the cubewano.
