Rapstrap

Rapstrap

Rapstrap is a system of securing and bundling together cables, ropes, plants etc. It is a reusable plastic strap that is rapped around the cables, plants or supports and then cut to size similar to cable ties but unlike cable ties the excess that is cut off can be used again.

The inventor of rapstrap, Andrew Harsley appeared on the Dragons' Den TV show and was able to sell 50% of his company for £150,000 [ Cite news |last=Hall |first=Jo |title=Andy leaves Dragons' Den with £150,000 - but it costs him half his business | publisher =Grantham Journal |url=http://www.granthamjournal.co.uk/news/Andy-leaves-Dragons-Den-with.4381204.jp |accessed=2008-09-09 |year=2008 |date=2008-08-12] .
