Megamammals

The term Megamammals is an informal name for the large Prehistoric mammals that went extinct at the dawn of humanity. In this category are the members of the order proboscidea and the giant ground sloth known as megatherium. Other members include the saber-toothed cats, an ancient armadillo called a glyptodont, and the cave bear.
