John Sparks (cricketer)

John Sparks (born 1778 and christened 9 April 1778 at Bramley, Surrey; died 5 March 1854 at Edinburgh) was an English professional cricketer. He bowled slow underarm (unknown hand).

Career

Sparks was mainly associated with Surrey and he made 50 known appearances in first-class matches from 1803 to 1829 Arthur Haygarth, "Scores & Biographies", Volume 1 (1744-1826), Lillywhite, 1862] .
