It has the second-largest Maternity unit in Scotland, delivering 5500 babies each year. The hospital also contains one of each of the following: a paediatric neonatal unit; an MRI scanner, elderly care and psychiatric day hospitals, and an emergency care unit containing an integrated accident and emergency unit with 36-bed ward.It also has a 24-hour accident and emergency department.
