It is home to the Timberwolves. It was built in 2000.
It was named a California Distinguished School in 2007 [2], and was named a Blue Ribbon School in 2008[3].
Contents
Athletics
In 2003, the football team beat out Clovis West High School's football team to win the Valley Championship. This same rivalry game was revived in 2007 and the Timberwolves beat out the Golden Eagles again to bring home their second Valley Championship.
The boys' Clovis East track and field team won the 2009 State Championship.
Performing Arts
Coordinated by Randy Stump, Heather Karsevar, Dan Bishop, and Kevin Memley, the school has put together a number of musical and non musical productions, put on at the Mercedes Edwards Theatre in Clovis, and at the Dan Pessano Theatre in Fresno. In 2005, the school put on the play Beauty and Beast, which broke a 48 year attendance record at the MET, a record which still stands. In 2009, they performed Titanic: A New Musical, and produced an on stage ship that "actually sunk."
