Steadfast Technology Services Private Limited is a software product development company founded in the year 2001. Steadfast is headquartered in the Indian city of Chennai. Steadfast has developed a CRM ( Customer Relationship Management product Pactus for small and medium size business.
History
Started in the year 1996 as a partnership firm, Steadfast was a consulting partner for designing and delivering printed circuit boards for the automobile service industry. Having identified service as customer relationship area and having seen the market gap in the service sector during the late 90’s it gave way for the founders to diversify and leverage the core competency of the partnership as a software development division.
In the year 2003 Steadfast emerged as a full fledged software development division. Steadfast identified the requirement in the Asian market for a CRM in the sales and service sector. With India having an enormous economic growth and market potential the founders identified the need for a product. Steadfast conceived the product idea of ‘Pactus’ during January 2003 and started putting plans into action during November 2003. Pactus was built using Microsoft technologies. Pactus was installed for the first customer in August 2006.
Ever since, Pactus has been a software widely used for sales and service in the computer and air conditioner industry.
Pactus versions
Pactus 1.0 was bundled as a Visual Basic.net / MSDE application. V1.0 was launched as a ‘simple to use and easy to install’ application.
Pactus 2.2 released with inventory and material movement as additional modules. V2.2 was branded as a 'Multiple functionality and simple usability' application.
Pactus 3.0 was bundled as Visual Basic.net / SQL server express application. V3.0 was rolled as a 'Customer Friendly' application which had training videos as part of the product.
