The International Cycling Video Festival, founded 2005, takes place every late summer in Bochum, Germany. It is managed by the local cycling club "Team Hollandse Frietjes - non-professional cycling".
The objecitve of the festival is to strengthen the international cooperation in terms of cycling, cycling films and cycling culture. For this purpose the festival has screened more than 80 films from more than 25 countries since its debut in 2006.One of its highlights is the ceremony of the award "Goldene Kurbel" - Golden Crank, a jury price given annually to the best film of the festival. The 2008 winner is the movie maker Mike Tereba from Luxembourg for his contribution "Psyclist", a very successful movie on international scale.
The closing of the festival will be crowned by a sportive competition, the "Souvenir Stefan Götz", a both individual and team time trial about 20 km.
