Lorelei Rox is a fictional character from the comic book "The Spirit", by writer-artist Will Eisner. She only appeared in "The Spirit" one time in September 1948. Although only appearing in one story, the tale of Lorelei Rox was one of the most memorable appearances of a femme fatale. When local truckers were losing their cargo and their lives, the Spirit met up with Lorelei Rox. Singing a hypnotic song that mesmorizes her victims, this statesque woman almost caused The Spirit to come to grief.
