The Open Space Theatre

The Open Space Theatre was created by Charles Marowitz and Thelma Holt in 1968.It was in a basement on Tottenham Court Road in London and operated until around 1980.

Jinnie Schiele's book [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Off-centre-Stages-Fringe-Theatre-1968-1983/dp/1902806425/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220307290&sr=1-2 Off Centre Stages] (University of Hertfordshire Press, 2006) relates the history of the Open Space with that of Holt's later venue, the Roundhouse.
