Late Night Shots is an exclusive, invite-only social networking
website based in Washington DC. The site was created by Reed Landryand Neel Patel in 2006 and currently boasts over 20,000 members. It's features include aseries of message board, member profile pages and a "Spotter" throughwhich members are encouraged to report spotting other members atvarious DC hot spots. Although Late Night Shots remainsoverwhelmingly DC-focused, a series of message boards have been createdfor the cities of Charlottesville, New York City, Atlanta, Charlotte and
Dallas.

Criticism

In July 2007 the Washington City Paper published an explosive andhighly controversial expose about Late Night Shots and the associatedscene. The accuracyof the City Paper article remains in dispute.

Television

In September 2008 filming for a reality show based on Georgetown'selite social scene called "Blonde Charity Mafia" began.
