Daniel Roan is the sports director for WGN, a Chicago television station. He is also the host of WGN's Instant Replay.

Career

Dan's career began in 1977 at WCIA in Champaign, Illinois, where he was sports director for seven years.[1]

On November 22, 1987, his report on The Nine O'Clock News was hijacked by a pirate who impersonated Max Headroom. When the shot returned to him, he said, "Well, if you're wondering what happened, so am I."[2]
