Take A Worm For A Walk Week are a 4 piece spazz/pop/hardcore band from Glasgow, Scotland.

Biography

Formed in the summer of 2006 from the ashes of Glasgow bands Torqamada and Julia Thirteen, the band recorded a self financed mini EP before releasing the critically acclaimed debut album 'Take A Worm For A Walk Week' (mixed and mastered by Aereogramme guitarist Iain Cook [http://www.midmarchrecords.com/tawfaww.htm] ) in early 2007 on Midmarch Records. This was closely followed by a split 7" on Midmarch/Dizzy Storm Records [http://www.midmarchrecords.com/desalvo.htm] with fellow Glasgow band Desalvo who feature members of Stretchheads and Idlewild. 2008 saw the release of a split EP on Smalltown Records with UK bands With Scissors and Orion Arm. TAWFAWW's second full length album 'The Monroe Transfer' will be released September the 15th 2008 [http://www.undergroove.co.uk/TS2/TSItem.aspx?item=138&loc=UK&Sup=&Cat=] on Undergroove Records.
