Air Miles (charter broker)

Air Miles (charter broker)

Air Miles (Trans World Aviation Inc.) was established in December 2001 as a charter broker in the field of charter services to/from Greece. Initially flight operations were carried out under the air operators certificate of Islandsflug.

Cyprus Airways, parent company of Hellas Jet, suspended all Hellas Jet scheduled flights as of May 10 2005 due to heavy losses. In July 2005 Cyprus Airways sold 51% of its subsidiary Hellas Jet to air charter broker Air Miles, which took over the majority shares and the commercial exploitation of the fleet of Hellas Jet, which eventually came under the sole ownership of Air Miles and is now the operational arm of the Group.
