'Ghost Unit' is a mixtape released by The Game in 2005 shorty after his well publicized departure of G-Unit.

Background

The mixtape contains mostly diss tracks against G-Unit. It features many other artists some of which have had problems with G-Unit. The mixtape also has diss tracks towards Young Gunz (Palm Pilot,Old Gunz) and Gucci Mane (Stay Strapped Remix, a Remix of Stay Strapped by Young Jeezy which was a diss towards Gucci) Guests include Dr. Dre, D-Block and Black Wall Street members amongst others. In an attempt to decrease G-Unit member Tony Yayo's record sales, The Game advertised for fans to buy another copy of his own debut album The Documentary and then send it back to him to later receive a signed copy of Ghost Unit.
