DFB Cup 1983-84

The DFB Cup 1983-84 was the 41^st season of the competition. It began on August 16 1983 and ended on May 31 1984. In the final FC Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 8 – 7 on penalties to take their seventh title. It was the first time the cup final had to be decided by a penalty shootout.
