Pete Day (1970) in London, England, is a Recording engineer/Record producer/Song writer, brought up for the most part in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ash,_Surrey Ash] (near Guildford ) Surrey, best known for being the Recording engineer for Stock Aitken Waterman at there PWL Studios and later to write and produce the Lisa Scott-Lee hits 'Lately' and 'Too Far Gone' as part of [http://www.point4music.com Point4] .

He began his career at the famous PWL Studios in February 1987 as a tea boy and within 3 years became Stock Aitken and Waterman’s chief Recording engineer ,recording artist's such as Kylie, Sybil, Bananarama, and Jason Donavan.

With the splitting of Mike Stock from Pete Waterman in 1993 Peter help set up Mike Stock's new studio at 100 Union Street SE1 continuing as Mike Stock's recording and mix engineer with artists Nikki French, Robson & Jerome. He also moved into Production and Writing producing an album for Lovetrain and Writing and Producing for Tatjana and Suzann Rye. He spent some months working at [http://www.uniquerecording.com/ Unique studios] in New York in 1998 and split with Mike Stock soon after.

He then with Phil Dyson (an assistant and keyboard player from Mike Stock studio's) set up DysonDay productions ltd. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remixing Remixing] for Madasun, Faithless, Dido, Rob Dougan including the club hit ‘ [http://www.discogs.com/release/63635 Clubbed to death] ’ which was later released under the [http://www.point4music.com Point4] banner.Whilst getting DysonDay off the ground he spent a year teaching studio recording at the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_of_Contemporary_Music Academy Of Contemporary Music] close to home in Guildford.

In 2001 [http://www.point4music.com Point4] was formed which was Peter Day, Phil Dyson, Paul (Bronze) Newton, and Daniel Sherman. Paul and Daniel where introduced by their accountant as prolific songwriters and the team’s first collaboration was ‘ [http://www.discogs.com/release/532219 The First Time] ’ which they signed to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMG_Records BMG Records] . The team continued their success signing also as [http://www.discogs.com/artist/Stylus+(8) Stylus] to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Records London records] and as [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVy5ZYhro9Y 56k Featuring Bejay] to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edel_Records Edel] / [http://www.kontor.cc/ Kontor records] in 2003

Under the [http://www.point4music.com Point4] banner they [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remixing Remixing] tracks for such acts as [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemar Lemar] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_Kitten Atomic kitten] , going on to write and produce 8 tracks for Lisa Scott-Lee ( [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_records Mercury records] ) including the hits ‘Lately 6 Uk Chart and ‘Too Far Gone’ 11 Uk chart.

The [http://www.point4music.com Point4] team split in 2004 when Phil Dyson and Daniel Sherman left to pursue other careers. Peter and Paul (Bronze) Newton set up [http://www.point4music.com Point4] ’s, which is a purpose built facility in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulham Fulham] to continue under the [http://www.point4music.com Point4] banner.
