Frank Fischer

Frank Fischer is an East German flatwater kayaker who competed in the early 1980s. He won three medals at the ICF Flatwater Racing World Championships with two golds (K-2 500 m and K-2 1000 m (both 1983) and one bronze (K-2 500 m: 1981). Personal life

Fischer's wife, Sarina, won two gold medals in women's swimming at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, earning them in the 4 x 100 m freestyle relay (anchor leg) and the 4 x 100 m medley relay (in qualifying round, but not final).
