Penymynydd

Penymynydd

Penymynydd is a small Welsh village, merging with Penyffordd.

It consists of a number of modern housing estates (Well House Drive, Coed Terfyn, Coed Y Graig), and also housing on Penymynydd road (most of which is in Penyffordd). Its name is Welsh, meaning "top" or "end of the mountain". Penymynydd has one church, one church primary school, and formerly a second church which was recently re-developed.
