- Keith Bezanson
Keith Bezanson is a Canadian diplomat and international public servant.
Formerly Director of the
Institute of Development Studies (IDS) (1997-2004) and Canada'sInternational Development Research Centre (IDRC) (1991-1997), Dr Bezanson's career has included a number of development and diplomatic roles. He has held senior posts with theInter-American Development Bank and theCanadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and between 1985 and 1988 was CanadianAmbassador toPeru andBolivia . Prior to that he was a lecturer and researcher inGhana , and a teacher inNigeria .Dr Bezanson was born in
Kingston, Ontario . He is a graduate ofCarleton University , Ottawa, Canada, and ofStanford University ,California . He is the author of numerous publications oninternational development .External links
