Sabudana Khichadi

Sabudana khichadi (also known as Usal) is an Indian dish. It is usually prepared in Maharashtra. It is the dish of choice when somebody is observing a fast. Prepared by mixing equal portions of sabudana and ground peanuts fried in oil, it is consumed with buttermilk. Khichadi is prepared by mixing chilli powdergreen chilli pieces into the mixture of sabudanna and ground peanuts during the frying process.
