Hashim Saleh (born 15 October 1981) is a Omani football striker who plays for Al-Tadamon. He is a member of the Oman national football team. He has had been fighting for a place on the first squad on the national team as a forward, but with there being players such as Hani Al-Dhabit, Badar Al-Maimani, and Imad Al-Hosni, it makes it difficult for Hashim to make many appearances. Although he has not made as many appearances as Al-Hosni, or Al-maimani, Saleh was featured in many games as a substitute, and sometimes even started. In the 2007 Gulf Cup of Nations, he scored a magnificent goal against a stunned Kuwait, which was thought by many as "the best goal in the competition".
