NWA Wildside , where he soon won theNWA North American Heavyweight Championship . Upon losing the belt to "Wildcat" Chris Harris, Paris moved on toNWA Wildside where he later won the NWA Wildside Junior heavyweight Championship before dropping the title to future tag team partnerA.J. Styles , whom he was feuding with. In 2000,World Championship Wrestling talent scoutTerry Taylor signed both Styles and Paris to developmental deals later in the year.World Championship Wrestling
Paris made his WCW debute when he teamed with fellow enhancement talents
James Storm , Cory Williams, andMike Rapada , to face (and lose to)KroniK in a four on two handicap match onWCW Worldwide . Paris was then placed in a tag team with former rival A.J. Styles. The tag team was largely used to job to other tag teams, including Jamie Knoble andEvan Karagias as well asElix Skipper andKid Romeo , but the pair managed to score an upset over former World Tag Team ChampionsAlex Wright and Disco Inferno. In March 2001, Paris and Styles were repackaged as Air Paris and Air Styles respectively, and the team was dubbed Air Raid. Their new gimmick was for both men to dress in flight suits when making their entrance. They competed on the last episode ofWCW Thunder in March 2001 in a losing effort to theJung Dragons . When WCW was bought out by the WWF, both Paris' and Styles' contracts were not picked up due to lack of wrestling experience. After the demise of WCW and NWA Wildside, Paris (while retaining his Air Paris ring name) competed on the Georgiaindependent circuit .In wrestling
