Peter R. Morris was a Major League Baseball shortstop in by|1884 for the Washington Nationals of the Union Association. He played one game for them, going 1-for-3. He also played for the Milwaukee team in the Northwestern League in by|1883 and 1884. He was killed in a railroad accident in December, 1884. Morris was one of only three men born in Wales to play in the major leagues. The others were Jimmy Austin and Ted Lewis.
