website = [http://www.mnps.org/PageFactory.aspx?PageID=4598 Official school website]Antioch High School has a long and proud history dating back to 1932. The Board of Education purchased a suitable tract of land in the southern section of Davidson County. A brick building was erected, and a four-year high school was formally opened in the fall of 1933. The first graduating class had twenty-four students and a faculty of seven.
The school is located at 1900 Hobson Pike, Antioch, Tennessee 37013. In the fall of 1997, our present facility (89 classrooms) opened the doors to a student community of 1,857 and 90 teachers. Antioch High School currently has an enrollment of 2,454 and 132 teachers. The increase in student population for the 2002-2003 school year necessitated the utilization of the TV studio, teachers’ lounge and hospitality room as instructional areas. Antioch has twenty-five (25) portables and three (3) teachers float from classroom to classroom due to the crowded conditions in our building and the increase in enrollment.
