"Ao Vivo Vol. 1" "(Live Vol. 1)" is the first live album by Portuguese American singer/songwriter Jorge Ferreira, released in 1991 on Henda Records & Videos in America and Ovação Nacional in Portugal. It was reedited in 2004 by Portuguese Music World.

After releasing the album "Olhos Verdes", Ferreira left on tour throughout various country such as Portugal (including Madeira and Azores), Venezuela, Australia, South Africa, Germany, France, England, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Bermuda, Netherlands Antilles (Curaçao), Canada and the United States. This live album was the recording of a part of a large Ferreira's concert given in 1990 at the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa. Released one year after, in 1991, the CD includes all best Ferreira's hits of the epoch, the majority of them being medleys.

Trivia

* In the Ovação version, the cover is completely different and the album title is "Ao Vivo". This version is separately divided into 2 CDs entitled by the same name, with a different cover for each CD. The first CD includes the tracks 1 to 10 and the second CD includes the tracks 11 to 18.
