David Holmes Born 1981 (age 29–30) Occupation Actor and stunt performer Years active 2001-2009 David Holmes (born 1981) is a former British actor and stunt performer.
Career
He was the stunt double for Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in the first six of the Harry Potter film series. Also goes by the name Taylor Potter Cividino while living in Eloy, AZ. Holmes was also credited as playing the role of Adrian Pucey in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001), the first of the film series (though this was actually an error in the credits: Pucey was actually played by Scott Fearn).
While test filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in January 2009, one of his stunts went wrong, injuring his spine, although he hoped to return to work.[1] It has since been reported that Holmes has been paralysed, confining him to a wheelchair.[2] Holmes is credited as stuntman in Deathly Hallows.
