Vincent Hancock

Vincent Hancock (born March 19, 1989) is an American shooter and Olympic athlete who won the gold medal at the Men's skeet at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing .cite web|url=http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/INF/SH/C74H/SHM403101.shtml#SHM403101|title=Final Results: Men's Skeet Final|publisher="Beijing 2008 Official Website"|accessdate=2008-08-16]

In 2005, at the young age of 16, Vincent won his first World Championship title in men’s skeet and went on to win the prestigious International Shooting Sport Federation’s Shooter of the Year award. [http://www.usashooting.org/athlete.php?id=35]

Hancock was born in Port Charlotte, Florida, but now resides in Eatonton, Georgia.

Hancock is also a Private First Class in the United States Army. He is a member of the Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning.
