Rajni Devi

Mrs Rajnigandha Devi, d/o Raja Naresh Chandra Singh of Sarangarh, born at Girivilas Palace, Sarangarh on 31st January 1937 and studied in St Joseph's Convent Nagpur and Nagpur University (Lady Amrit Bai College), fought and won the election to the 5th Lok Sabha from Raigarh costituency on a Congress Party ticket in 1967. She was a member till the dissolution of the house for a mid-term poll in 1971. She married Colonel (ret.) Viredra Singh [http://www.uq.net.au/~zzhsoszy/ips/s/sarangarh.html] and now lives in Jabalpur,M.P. She has a daughter, Nandita and a son, Chandraveer.
