Wendy St. Kitts is a songwriter, singer, arranger, producer, musician. Her style is anchored in soul, afro-beat, reggae, calypso, jazz, R&B and rock. Hailing from the Caribbean in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis (birth place of Joan Armatrading), as a child she studied classical piano and spent her summers in New York City where she eventually relocated. Releasing her first LP in April 2008, Wendy’s music has an organic, rhythmic flow. Vocally, she moves from a roar to a whisper with ease, and R. Hendix, Music Supervisor MTV said of her "Wendy has a big voice; a great voice. Her music is really big."
