HushPuppies

HushPuppies is a french garage rock band influenced by the sixties. Members of the group live in Paris, France but are from Perpignan and Bordeaux.

Biography

During their high-school years, Franck, Cyrille, Wilfried and Olivier, fans of bands like the Kinks or The Small Faces, decided to create a band specializing in cover versions of sixties garage rock songs, called the Likyds.After seven years, the band split up because the singer and the guitar player had to go work in Paris. Later, they were joined by Franck and Wilfried, who came to study in Paris.In 2002, they decided to make a new band with a guitar bass player, Guillaume, a friend of theirs. They decided the name of the new band would be the HushPuppies.

In April 2003, their first demo went on sale, followed by a 12 track live album "Live @ House of Live" showing their (well-known) live presentation.

In 2004, two EPs come out. "The Garden" reveals them to the public. The next year, their first album, "The Trap", went on sale. In November 2007, their second album "Silence is Golden" is in store, with a well known song "Bad taste and gold on the doors" with the gimmick "I want my Kate Moss"
