Cəbrayil — City & Municipality — Coordinates: 39°24′00″N 47°01′34″E / 39.4°N 47.02611°E Country Azerbaijan Rayon Jabrayil Population (2008) – Total 9,093 Time zone AZT (UTC+4) – Summer (DST) AZT (UTC+5) Cəbrayil (also spelt Cäbrayil, Jabrayil, Jebrayil, Jebrail, Jabrail, Jäbrayyl, Jebraiele, Djebrail, Dzhebrail, Džebrail), is a city currently administrated by ethnic Armenian forces from Nagorno-Karabakh. It was previoulsy the capital of the Jabrayil Rayon of Azerbaijan. The Council of Europe considers it an illegally occupied Armenian settlement.[1]
