SIESCOMS or SIES College of Management Studies was established in 1995 with the primary objective of providing world class quality management education to budding professionals, to create managers for the 21st Century. SIESCOMS, located in Nerul, an important node of Navi Mumbai boasts of one of the best physical infrastructures befitting a modern B- School with serene environs & an enduring value system.It was ranked as one of the top 20 B-schools in India by Outlook-C Fore survey in september 2007.
MISSION and VISION
The mission of the Institute is guided by the mission statement of SIES and is to provide world class quality Management education at affordable cost.The vision of SIESCOMS is to strive to achieve leadership position in management education by facilitating learning and holistic development of students through providing the most effective resources and environment. SIESCOMS aims to be a Learning Organization which will use measuring and monitoring tools to continually enhance the effectiveness of its educators and processes, thereby to differentiate itself as an Institution that is continually renewing and transforming itself to meet the changing needs of its customers.The incumbent director of the institute is Dr AK Sengupta.

Widely recognised for its two-year full time MBA(PGDM), MMS programme & the Packaging institute, the recent years saw several new initiatives being taken by the institute. This includes launch of Doctoral Program in collaboration with Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur (BESUS), Kolkata, start of the 2-year new program on Biotechnology Business Management, launch of 1-year program on Social Enterprise Management targeted at the NGO sector, spreading the Executive-MBA program across a new centre at Sion. The institute has also established four Centres of Excellence: Banking & Finance, Ethics & Values, Pharmaceutical Management, and Entrepreneurship.The other new experimentation is in context of building research focus at the institute. Knowledge creation and dissemination is the business in which business schools are expected to be in. Research therefore becomes an imperative for schools to build sustainable competitive advantage.
