Մարտիրոսյան; born June 9, 1988)[1] is a world champion and Olympic bronze medalist weightlifter from Armenia.
At the 2006 World Weightlifting Championships he ranked 6th in the 69 kg category with a total of 306 kg.[1]
He won the silver medal in the 69 kg category at the 2007 European Weightlifting Championships, with 331 kg in total.[2]
Martirosyan won the gold medal in the 69 kg category at the 2008 European Weightlifting Championships, with 346 kg in total.[1]
He won the bronze medal in the 69 kg category at the 2008 Summer Olympics, with 338 kg in total.
He won the silver medal in the 77 kg category at the 2009 World Weightlifting Championships, with 370 kg in total.[1]
He won the gold medal in the 77 kg category at the 2010 World Weightlifting Championships, with 373 kg in total.
His trainer was Ashot Mkhitaryan who died 23.05.2010.
