The Munt la Schera Tunnel is a one-way road tunnel located in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It connects the Engadin valley with Lago di Livigno.

The tunnel is now open 24 hours a day. ^[1] The tunnel is only wide enough for a single vehicle, and traffic moves in alternate directions controlled by traffic lights which change every fifteen minutes. The tunnel is subject to height and width maxima of 3.6 and 2.5 m respectively. The toll for a return vehicle trip through the tunnel is CHF 40 / EUR 25 in 2011.

Opened for public transport in 1968, initially the tunnel was used to transport building materials for the construction of Punt dal Gall dam.

As of June 2008, the tunnel is closed for bicycles. The change, along with an extension to the tunnel's opening hours, was taken at the request of the Livigno municipality "in order to avoid accidents". From June to September between 10.00 and 15.00 cyclists wishing to pass through the tunnel may take their cycles on a half hourly shuttle bus for which in 2010 there is a charge of CHF 8 / EUR 5, though those affected are urged to check for changes to these details, which are displayed on a notice at the Livigno end of the tunnel.^[2].
