Steve Meyers

Steve Meyers

Steve Meyers (born January 8, 1977) is an American technologist and vice president and CIO of Slamm Creative, a full-service creative agency based in West Chester, PA.

Meyers graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in December 1999. Meyers’ career began at information technology (IT) services and solutions company Unisys (where he spent just over seven years). From 2000-2003, Meyers directed a team in consolidating Microsoft’s server product suite into a single scale-up Microsoft data center instance on the Unisys ES7000 server. In so doing, Meyers championed the creation of the first Windows mainframe, and reduced costs for many of Unisys’s clientele.

After the break-through success of the Microsoft product suite consolidation, Meyers was named Enterprise Linux Program Director in 2003, where he persevered in developing a Linux-based enterprise server product line in a Microsoft-dominated company. Meyers built this enterprise Linux program from the ground up on the ES7000 line of servers and saw it certified on six different platforms in two years. From directing Linux kernel and platform development engineering teams to setting up support channels and partnerships with Red Hat and Novell, Meyers oversaw the production of some of the largest Linux hardware configurations ever made available by a hardware vendor.

After leaving Unisys in late 2007, Meyers joined up with brothers Leo Daiuto and Anthony Daiuto as the vice president and CIO of Slamm Creative. In this position, he is responsible for the technology and infrastructure of the agency, as well as the direction of technology for customers and client projects.
