"A-Lex" is the upcoming eleventh studio album by Brazilian metal band Sepultura. It is scheduled for release on Start date|2008|11 by independent German record label SPV. This is the first album featuring new drummer Jean Dolabella, since the departure of Igor Cavalera in 2006.cite web|url=http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=102430|title=Sepultura: New Album Details Revealed|date=2008-08-08|publisher=Blabbermouth|accessdate=2008-08-08]

This is the second concept album released by Sepultura, following "Dante XXI" that is based on Dante Alighieri's "The Divine Comedy", "A-Lex" is based on the 1962 book "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess, which on 1971 was adapted for a film version of the same name by Stanley Kubrick.

Recording

The album was recorded in São Paulo at Trama Studios and mixed at Mega Studios during 2008, since February through the process of composition [cite web|url=http://sepultura.uol.com.br/v6/en/news_article.php?id=616|title=Sepultura Starts Writing New Album|date=2008-02-10|publisher=sepultura.uol.com.br|accessdate=2008-08-08] until August when the band finished the mixing process and revealed the track listing and album title. Andreas Kisser stated about the influences obtained from Burgess work:
