- Reinholds Robots
Reinholds Robots (1912 - ??) was a Latvian footballer who made one international appearance for
Latvia national football team .Reinholds made his single international appearance aged just 19 in a friendly match against Finland as Latvia suffered a 0-4 defeat in
Helsinki . After the match there was a lot of critique from the Latvian press that the Latvia squad wasn't selected appropriately and that the forward line (including Robots) was especially weak. Never again was Robots selected to represent his country on an international level. However he remained a notable player in Latvian football for the rest of the 1930s.From 1931 Robots played with
JKS Riga , earning promotion to theVirsliga after the 1931 season. He left JKS in early 1934 to join the young and ambitiousV.Ķuze football team which over a couple of years rose to Virsliga. Still Robots left Ķuze directly before the 1936 (its first in Virsliga) and joined another lower league side -LAS Riga with which he played until the end of his football career.
