Joseph John Fox

Joseph John Fox (August 2, 1855 - March 14, 1915) was the fifth Roman Catholic bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Green Bay. [ [http://www.gbdioc.org/pg/history.tpl History ] at www.gbdioc.org]

Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood on June 7, 1879. On May 27, 1904, Pope Pius X appointed him bishop of the Green Bay Diocese and he was ordained a bishop on June 25, 1904. He resigned on November 7, 1914 and died on March 14, 1915, in Green Bay.
