synonyms =The Yungas Tyrannulet ("Phyllomyias weedeni") is a species of
bird in theTyrannidae family. It is, as suggested by itscommon name , restricted to humid and semi-humid forest in theYungas of north-westernBolivia and far south-easternPeru . Although discovered in the early1990s , it was only formally described in 2008. It resembles thePlanalto Tyrannulet , but has a different voice. Being recently described, it has not yet been rated byBirdLife International , but as it occurs in low densities within a small range that is subjected to extensivehabitat destruction , it has been recommended treating it as vulnerable.References
