S. Husky Höskulds (born in Iceland) is a Grammy Award winning audio engineer from Los Angeles, California. He has contributed to Grammy Award winning works including Sheryl Crow’s album "Sheryl Crow" released in 1996 and Solomon Burke's "Don't Give Up on Me" released in 2002. In 2003 he received the Grammy Award for "Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical" for Norah Jones’ "Come Away with Me" released in 2002. He moved to Los Angeles in 1991 to study audio engineering at University of California, Los Angeles and began his career working with Mitchell Froom and Tchad Blake at The Sound Factory. He has his own audio services and recording studio, eightbitaudio (8BA) and The Mute Matrix Studios. He has worked with Tom Waits, Gipsy Kings, Mike Patton, Ani DiFranco, Los Lobos and many others.
