Jimmy Demers is an Internationally recognized singer hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts. Along with his brother, songwriter Donnie Demers, Jimmy began his career by making his National Television debut on " [The Muscular Dystrophy Jerry Lewis Telethon] " in 1982. Not long after that Jimmy was a runner up on Ed McMahon's "Star Search" Talent Show in the mid 1980's. From there his credits include singing background vocals on Cher's, "Heart of Stone" CD to Paula Abdul's debut CD, "Forever Your Girl." Jimmy Demers was signed to Interscope Records as part of the group, "Truth, Inc." which garnered the talented "boy band" a top 40 hit, "Sex On The Beach" in 1990. For ten years he was the voice of the Coca-Cola ad campaign, "Always Coca-Cola". Jimmy Demers has traveled extensively throughout the world, including Shanghai, China where in 2007, he performed his brother's composition, "Let The Best of You Go Free" to a stadium audience of over 65,000 fans at the "World Summer Games, Special Olympics Closing Ceremony". Additionally, Jimmy Demers has been a featured singer to sports organizations all over the United States, singing "The Star Spangled Banner" for the "U.S. Open Tennis Championship", "The Dodgers", "The Giants" to name only a few. Jimmy Demers was recently signed by the Concord Music Group where his debut solo album will be released on September 23, 2008 entitled, "Dream A Little."
