The third season of the Australian drama "Sea Patrol" will premiere as "Sea Patrol - Red Gold" on the Nine Network in 2009. Principal location filming will, as in past seasons, be completed in and around the area of Mission Beach, Queensland. It has an announced budget of AU$17 million.
