Plot
While transporting two AFP agents to Bright Island the ship comes across a sophisticated buoy. Thinking it's dodgy and that they could be tampering with evidence if it's involved in a drug smuggling operation, the crew leave it. After transporting the agents to Bright Island the ship gets a call form NAVCOM telling them that large shipments of cocaine have been coming into Australia via northern waters. They then see a boat on radar heading towards the buoy that then turns away. The Hammersly then heads to the buoy to have a look at it. While Swain and ET have a look underwater they find a metal box that starts beeping, and quickly blows up just seconds after Swain and ET exit the water. The ship then goes after the vessel that turned away from the buoy before they had a look at it. The next morning the ship boards the vessel and find two young men along with some marijuana. XO and Spider then lead as a steaming party and take the vessel back to base. During the journey one of the men says that he has a brother that is making a pick-up for the same people who set the bomb of. After receiving news of this the ship tries to stop the other vessel but to no avail. When they arrive at the marked buoy position they find the wreckage of the boat, along with a man in the water. Meanwhile, on the drug boat, XO receives the news and says to the man that "The bomb went off before "Hammersley" got there." Then the man tries to hit XO and she and Spider handcuff the men. Meanwhile on the "Hammersley" they track down the drug bosses, and arrest them. About 4 hours later the "Hammersley" and the drug boat arrive at port. While two police officers guide the men into a police vehicle one of the men sees his brother, alive. Later that night, CO sees Ursula, and the two seem to go on a date.
