Sir Trevor Jones is a British Liberal Democrat Politician and former Leader of Liverpool City Council. His wife Lady Doreen Jones is a former Mayor and his daughter in law Mia Jones is a councillor for Chester City Council and was a candidate in the 2005 General Election.
His nick name was Jones the Vote a reference to his Welsh heritage and the cult TV Series Ivor the Engine. He has been knighted.
