Its bishop is currently vacant after Bishop Johannes Pujasumarta was appointed Archbishop of Semarang. Bishop Ignatius Suharyo Hardjoatmodjo of Jakarta is currently Apostolic Administrator sede vacante of the diocese, until a new bishop for the diocese is appointed.
