"Expresso" is a Portuguese weekly newspaper. It was founded in 1973 by Francisco Pinto Balsemão and is very popular in the country, being considered as a newspaper of record. It belongs to Impresa, a Portuguese media conglomerate which is listed on the Euronext Lisbon stock exchange.
Prémio Pessoa
The Prémio Pessoa is a notable Portuguese award instituted in 1987 by the newspaper Expresso and the Unisys Company. It is one of the most reputed prizes awarded in Portugal, named after the poet Fernando Pessoa.
