United States . Bringing the songwriting talent of Bill to the vocal purity of Jeney the band has created some amazing songs like the melancholy 'Rivers', the party anthem 'Mr. Pete' and the dark 'Suicide Note'.Group Formation
Keenwild formed from the ashes of Superdank, a band featuring Jason Walker on Guitar.
Superdank broke up in the spring of 2002 after a wild show inHemet ,California atThe Wheelhouse that had Bill signing as he fell off the stage into the crowd. Jason would move on to play guitar in the Heavy Metal bandSerpent Underground after leaving Keenwild. [http://localpunks.net/press/interviews/buieinterview.htm] Bill had been writing songs that were not at all in the style of Superdank in the spring of 2002. When he met Jeney in the fall of 2001 through a message board on the website of now defunct radio station 92.1 in San Diego the two became fast friends. On the way home from a Superdank show in February 2002 atBrick by Brick inSan Diego , Bill heard Jeney singing to the radio in the back seat and was instantly hooked and knew he had found the new lead singer for his untitled new project.Finding a Name
After beginning to write new songs together, Bill and Jeney knew that the name Superdank was not the correct one for this new and different project. While driving to one of Bill's favorite hiking locations in
Idyllwild , California the pair were writing down random ideas when they drove past an area of the forest named 'Keenwild' and wrote down that name as well. After much deliberation and research into the various names they had pondered the two settled on the name Keenwild.uccess

Australian MP3.com.au charts [http://archive.fullvaluereview.com/music/concerts/111904madlins.htm] . The song 'Rivers' made it to the top 10 in the spring of 2005.
