casualties2=9,000The Battle of Vauchamps, the final major engagement of theSix Days Campaign of theNapoleonic Wars , was fought onFebruary 14 ,1814 and resulted in 18,000 French underNapoleon defeating 30,000 Prussian & Russian troops. They lost 9,000 men, including 5,000 prisoners, against 800 French casualties. The Russians were the Infantry Corps of Gen. Kapsevitch & the Prussians the Corps of Gen. Kleist. Many of them were ridden down by the French cavalry of Gen. Grouchy.
