Company History

Illumina Records was founded in July 2005 by Ronald Bellanti.

Ground Control

Ground Control is a campaign initiated in 1989 to utilize music to promote drunk driving awareness [http://www.collegian.psu.edu/venues/2007/12/13/campaign_uses_local_artists_to.aspx] .

Margot MacDonald

Margot MacDonald is among Illumina's most prominent artists and is the 2008 national spokesperson for the Ground Control campaign. In 2007 Margot released a Christmas compilation entitled "Christmas" and donated all proceeds to the Ground Control Campaign [http://margotchristmas.illuminarecords.com/] .
